Leroy Webb

Mr. Leroy Webb, 83, of 2231 St. Mark Court, Owensboro, died Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born January 30, 1921 to the late Lee Roy and Hettie Wells Webb in Edmonson County. He was retired from OMU as chief operator of water department. He was a member of Lewis Lane Baptist Church, a veteran of WW II, and enjoyed playing golf.

Survivors include his wife of fifty nine and years, Mary Vincent Webb; one son Greg Webb of Elizabethtown; two grandsons, Brian and Jason Webb; one great-grandson Ethan; and one nephew, Linden Alexander of Brownsville.

Funeral services will be 11:30 AM, Friday, July 2, 2004, at Glenn Funeral Home, with graveside services at 2:00 PM in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:30 until 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 9:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis Lane Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 2600 Lewis Lane, Owensboro, KY, 42301.
