LeRoy Casey

September 27, 1923 — May 25, 2003

LeRoy Lee Casey, 79, of Winter Haven, FL, (formerly of Owensboro), died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at the Winter Haven Hospital. The Cleaton, KY native, managed a Phillips 66 Service Station and Car Wash for over 20 years in Winter Haven and had worked at Roberts Motors in Owensboro. He was a member of the Parkland Baptist Church; a World War II veteran of the Navy; and a member of the Beaver Dam Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents, William M. and Famie Austin Casey; two sisters, Lela Casey and Dorothy Farmer; and a brother, Eddie Casey.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Dottie M. Casey; a son, Ernie (and wife Judy) Casey of Lawrenceburg, KY; a step-son, Rick Hamilton of Owensboro; and a step-daughter, Jane Hamilton of Winter Haven; two grandchildren, Jeff Casey of AL and Mark (and wife Jessica) Casey of Bowling Green; two great-grandchildren, Tanner Casey and Kensley Casey of Bowling Green; four brothers, Richard Casey of Beaver Dam, Billy Casey of Henderson, Jimmy Casey and Dean Casey of Louisville.

Funeral services are 1 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Friday and after 10 A.M. on Saturday.

Expressions of symapthy may take the form of donations to the Parkland Baptist Church Choir Fund, 1800 8th St. S.E., Winter Haven, FL 33880.
