Leonard W. Snyder

Leonard W. Snyder, 60, of 2118 Berkshire Dr., Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Jefferson Co., Ky. to the late William & Katherine Kruger Snyder. He was retired as a pipefitter after 34 years with the Pipefitters Union Local #633 and worked these years at Tennessee Valley Authority. He was of the Baptist faith, loved all spectator sports, and especially was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball and Ky Wesleyan College Panther basketball fan. He loved spending a lot of time with his grandchildren and families. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Beaucamp.

Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Rebecca Snyder, his daughter and her husband, Shannon & Greg Stepp of Owensboro, his son, Scott Snyder of Owensboro and his fianc Sammie Cooper, six grandchildren, Jordan and Christopher Stepp, and Brysan, Jayman, Jacob, and Kaedan Snyder, a niece, Kathy Ponaposki of Lexington, a nephew, Robby Beaucamp of Plant City, Fla., and a close family friend, Melissa Keelin of Owensboro.

Services will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 26, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
