Leona G. Crunk, 83, of Owensboro, passed away at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2016. Born December 15, 1932 in Paducah to the late Jasper and Pinkie Gunn, Leona was a member of the Owensboro Church of Christ since 1952. She was married to William E. Crunk, who passed away in 1996 and worked at G.E. before transitioning to Anderson Windows, where she later retired. Leona was also preceded in death by her sister, Naomi Martin of Louisville.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Wayne Crunk; grandchildren, Anthony Gordy and Samatia Gordy, all of Newark, Del.; grandbabies, Natalie Hatfield and Mallory Hatfield of Owensboro; brothers, Charles Gunn and his wife, Pat, of Evansville; Peter Gunn and his wife, Jo, of Georgetown, TX; and sister, Shirley Irene Clayton and her husband, Billy, of Madisonville.
Services will be noon Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be 6-8:00p.m. Monday and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
