Lena Mae Howard Rummage

Lena Mae Howard Rummage, 85, of Sweetwater, TN (formerly of Owensboro) died Monday, August 16, 2004 in Sweetwater, Tn. Born in Whitesville on November 13, 1918, Mrs Rummage was the daughter of the late William Linus and Effie Sparks Howard. She retired from the American Tobacco Company in Owensboro and a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Mrs. Rummage had lived with her daughter in Sweetwater, TN, for the past several years.

She is survived by six children, Wanda Scarbrough of Louisville, Gerald Rummage of Martinsville, IN, Darleen (and her husband Kenneth) Shope of Sweetwater, TN, Rondal (and his wife Jenny) Rummage of Lebanon Junction, KY, Gene (and his wife Juana) Rummage of Trenton, FL, and Imelda Haynes of Owensboro; 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Lucy Millay and Elizabeth Studer of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Friday at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Whitesville. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home on Thursday from 6-8 P.M. There will be no visitation on Fridaythe family and friends will gather at the church.
