Leila Mae Jensen

Leila Mae Bauman Jensen, 87, of Bon Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of 2911 Dixiana Court, died on October 12, 2003 at the center. She was born in Jackson Co., Mo. And was retired from the Borg-Warner Co. after 30 years of service. She was a charter member of Apollo Heights Baptist Church and loved talking to others about her Lord Jesus Christ. She left behind a legacy of caring, love, strength, and faith. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Tom Moody in 1935, 2nd husband, Raymond Jewell in 1996, and 3rd husband, Louis Jensen in 1986 and 3 sons, Donald Jewell in 1948, Ronald Jewell in 1969, and George Moody in 1999.
She is survived by 2 sons, Charles Chuck Jewell of Naperville, Il., Tom Moody of Belevidere, Il. 2 daughters, Patricia Beard of Owensboro and Mrs. John (LeeAnn) Lopez of Pomerene, Az., and grandchildren, George, Ronald, Alice, and Carolyn Moody, Charles R., Jeremey, and Tammy Jewell, Ron & Raymond Beard, and Beth & Cristi Lopez and her adopted family, Carolyn & Jerry Hallam of Thruston and their children, J.D., Nicole, Brittany, Felicia, Isaac, Mary, Tonya, and Keith, her Senior companion, Margaret OBryan and many friends.
Services will be at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, October 16, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.Memorial contributions may be made to the Foster-Adoptive Association, c/o Cindy Evans, 311 W. 2nd St., Owensboro, Ky. 42301 or the Ky. Baptist Childrens Home, c/o William K.
