Laverta Jo "La-La" Kemp, 51, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on March 2, 1960 in California. She was a member of Larkin Baptist Church in Rockport, IN.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Marjorie and Rodney Blandford, five brothers, William Stone, Kenny and Robert Ferguson, Dwayne Anderson, and Rodney Blandford, Jr., and two sisters, Brenda Kemp and Penny Lanham.
There will be no visitation or services. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
