Laura Lynn Cecil

Laura Lynn Lori Cecil, 33, of 17701 Curry Branch Road, Louisville, Ky. died Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Ohio Co. and was a native of Hancock Co. She was a member of the Long Run Baptist Church in Louisville, the National Humane Society, and enjoyed playing basketball, gardening, and decorating. She had graduated in 1986 from Hancock Co. High School where she was amember of the Lady Hornets basketball team. She loved her 4 dogs very much, Chazbo (now deceased), Jingle Bell, Macee, and Chico. She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Marsh, Jr. on June 6, 2003, and her grandfather, Charles Edgar Marsh, Sr. on October 4, 1994.
Surviving is her husband of 12 years, A. Barry Cecil, her mother, Betty Marsh of Owensboro, grandmother, Thelma Marsh of Knottsville, mother-in-law, Jo Ann Cecil of Owensboro, sister Angie May of Hawesville, brother Jason Baker of Owensboro, neices, Christina & Breanna Greer, both of Hawesville.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 9, 2003, at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Hancock Co. Vistiation will be from 1:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Long Run Baptist Church, 1901 Flatrock Road, Louisville, Ky. 40245.
