Laura Kellems Board

Laura Kellems Board, 48, of 19424 U. S. Highway 60 E., Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 at her home. She was born in Jefferson Co., Ky. and was a homemaker. She attended Good Shepherd Church and loved walking nature trails, reading her bible, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her previous husband, Louis Kellems, Jr. on Oct. 27, 2005 and her mother, Aline Maupin on June 27, 2000.

Surviving is her husband, Tommy Hubie Board, a daughter and her husband, Jamie K. & Cary Parrett of Gilbertsville, Ky., her son, Joshua Kellems of Gilbertsville, her father, Charles Maupin of Owensboro, four stepsons, Robert Thomas Board, Ethan Thomas Board, Luke Thomas Board, and Heath Thomas Board, all of Owensboro, a stepdaughter, Audra Lee Board of Owensboro, four grandchildren, Taylor Kellems, Krista Bittel, Morgan Bittel, and Suede Adams, two sisters, Camille Maupin of Owensboro, and Andrea Riggs of Eddyville, Ky., and two brothers, John Thurman of South Korea and Brett Maupin of Owensboro.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 2, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Saturday, 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
