Larry Wayne Richeson

Larry Wayne Richeson, 67 of Utica, KY passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 26, 1951 to the late Robert and Mildred Richeson. Larry retired from Swedish Match as a senior mechanic after 42 years of service. He enjoyed weaving hand-made chairs, making walking sticks, and creating blueprints. Larry portrayed Santa Claus for several years in various places and events, including the Whitesville parade.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Richeson and his brother, Bill Richeson.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Bernice Richeson of Kankankee, IL; his son, Lauren D. Richeson of Philpot, KY; his sisters, Patsy Mason of Hardinsburg, KY, Sheila Castlen of Sorgho, KY, and Carolyn Higdon of Sorgho, KY; his brother, Jerry Richeson of Florida; his special cousin, Steve Trogden of Utica, KY; his special nephew, William Woodward of Plymouth, IN.
Private services will be held at a later date.
