Larry R. Payne

Larry R. Payne, 64, of Fern Terrace Lodge in Bowling Green, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Owensboro Place. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late Raymond Spalding and Nellie Rose Payne. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a very kind and generous person and loved working around the rest home in Bowling Green. He graduated from St. Williams-Knottsville High School. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Eugene Payne on September 16, 2001.

Surviving are two brothers, James C. Payne and Charles Frederick "Freddie" Payne, and a sister, Margaret Ellen Head and husband Henry, all of Owensboro.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 14, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with Father John Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Prayers will be 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
