Larry Wayne Nolan

Larry Wayne Nolan, 73, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born March 9, 1952 in Daviess County to the late James Russell and Bessie Kay Hulsey Nolan. Larry was retired from Owensboro Municipal Utilities after 27 years of service and was a member of Settle Memorial United Methodist Church. He loved helping people and was a person who never met a stranger. Along with his wife Mary Lou, they mowed yards together, and he enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars and camping with his family. Larry had coached youth baseball at Highland and girls softball at St. Pius Tenth. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary Lou Nolan on June 16, 2024.

Surviving are his children, son Derek Nolan of Owensboro and daughter Tracy Nolan Pollock and husband Tom of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Katie and Gunnar Nolan of Owensboro; a sister, Brenda Turley of Bowling Green; and a cousin, Judy Wade of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be Noon Monday, December 1, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 2 PM until 6 PM Sunday and after 11 AM Monday at the funeral home.
