Larry Wayne Husk, Sr.

Larry Wayne Husk, Sr., 74, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his home.  He was born February 16, 1950 in Daviess County to the late James L. and Mary Snyder Husk.  Larry had worked as a foreman with the former Owensboro Brick and enjoyed dressing up as Santa Claus from November until January and riding around on his moped or three-wheeled bicycle.  He also enjoyed working in his yard and mowing yards for others and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his children, Larry Husk, Jr. and wife Stephanie of Owensboro and Mary Kay Martinez of Owensboro; six grandchildren, Ashtyn and Logan Husk, Victoria, Tonya, and Julia Martinez, and Maya Carrillo; a brother, Roger Husk of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.  The family plans on having a celebration of Larry’s life at a later time.  Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
