Larry Heady, 77, of Maceo, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville. He was born March 4, 1941 in Daviess County to the late Joseph W. and Katie Lynn Bell Heady. Larry was a retired Boilermaker with the Boilermaker's Union Local #40. He had been a member of the former Hall Street Baptist Church and enjoyed golfing, woodworking especially making swings, and making things with stained glass. There was nothing more important to Larry than his family. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Rose Heady on January 16, 2018 and a daughter, Tracey Lea Heady in 2010.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Dickens of Maceo, a granddaughter, Megan Marie Kleisath and husband Josh of Seattle, Washington, two brothers, Robert Joseph Heady and wife Lynn and Richard Heady and wife Benita, all of Maceo, a niece, Lydia Locke of Huntsville, Alabama, and a nephew, Todd Heady of Maceo.
The Funeral Service for Larry Heady will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 2 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. David Heady officiating. Visitation will begin at Noon Saturday at the funeral home with Boilermaker Rites.
