Larry Handley

Larry Handley, 67, of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born March 22, 1950 to the late Earl Snyder and Martha Dean Handley. Larry was a member of Eaton Memorial Baptist Church where he served as an usher and would help the church's families any time they needed it. Larry's favorite Bible verse was Psalm 148:1-14. He worked for Our Lady of Mercy Hospital for over 15 years, National Linen Services for over 2 years, TVA for over 5 years, and was a landscaper for over 20 years serving several families in the Owensboro area.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Ann Well
Survivors include his ex-wife, Kathy Davenport; his daughters, Danielle Paredes, Catina Servin, and Latajha Handley all of Owensboro; his 6 grandchildren; his great grandson; his brothers, Robert E. Handley of Owensboro and Jerry Wayne Handley of Cypress, CA; his sisters, Brenda Handley of Louisville, KY, Valerie Brown of Louisville, KY, and Rachael Sterling of Louisville, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins
The service will be 2PM Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Dennis McFadden will officiate. Burial will be in Lewisport Cemetery. The visitation will be 10AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Larry Handley Memorial Fund.
