Larry James Goatee

Larry J. Goatee, Sr. 63 of Owensboro passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Owensboro on June 9, 1947, he was the son of the late Frank and Lula Mae Pinkston Goatee; was a Baptist; and had worked at Schrecker Moving and Storage as a fork lift operator.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Vivian Feldpausch Goatee; sons, Larry J. (Carrie) Goatee, Jr. of Owensboro and Richard (Christina) Goatee of Baltimore, MD; daughters, Crystal (Stephen) Willis and Tonya (Joseph) Ross all of Owensboro; grandchildren, Zachary, Justin, Jonathan, Dalton, Kerrick, Felicia, Madison, Brandee, and Victoria; brothers, Buddy Goatee of Spottsville and Billy Robinson of Sebree; sisters, Margie O'Neill-Poiles and Louise Powers both of Owensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Creamtory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
