Larry A. Foster, 65, of 1323 Breckenridge St., Owensboro, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. to the late Joe Bob & Flora Mae Allen Foster. He was retired from Swedish Match Co. and was a member of the Owensboro Faith Fellowship Church. He was a former booster with the AmVets Post #75 and enjoyed singing, dancing, fishing, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, Rondall Allen Foster, a sister, Ruby Jewel Stewart, and five brothers, John Daniel Foster, Charles Raymond Foster, Bobby Glenn Foster, Eddie Gene Foster, and Phillip Marvin Foster.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Frances A. Foster, two sons, Larry Eugene Foster of Central City and Larry J. Allen and wife Tess of Owensboro, four daughters, Kaye Crask and husband Rusty, Norma J. Zavala-Garcia and husband Jose, Cathy S. Sutton and friend John Morris, and Patricia A. Cole and husband David, all of Owensboro, 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, three sisters, Wilma Walker of Livermore, and Martha Kelly and Verna Jo Fields, both of Ypsilanti, Mi., two brothers, Bro. Mike Foster of Greenville and Ray Foster of Nelson Creek, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:30 P.M. Thursday, May 31, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Belton Pentecostal Church.
