Larry S. "Caveman" Cave, Sr., 62, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born on May 16, 1950 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Carl Russell and Sarah Reeves Cave. He had been a concrete finisher with the Laborer's Union and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, bar-b-queing, and watching old Western movies. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Samantha Roach, three brothers, Carl, Henry, and Wendell Cave, and two sisters, Joann Hampton and Juanita Yeckering.
Surviving are two daughters, Tricia (Brent) Bell and Sarah (Adam) Roach, and a son, Larry Cave, Jr., all of Owensboro, seven grandchildren, Scott and Joey Wheatley, Brooke, Brad, and Jacob Yeckering, Isaac and Elijah Roach, one great grandchild, James Dean Wheatley, three brothers, Allan Cave of Joliet, IL, Arhtur Glenn Cave of Louisville, and Donnie Cave of Florida, and three sisters, Sharon Cisneros, Alma Mattingly, and Jeannetta Mayfield, all of Owensboro.
Private services will be held. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
