Larry Junior Aubrey, 56, of 2209 West 10th St., Owensboro, died Thursday, May 22, 2003 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Daviess County native was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse and prior to becoming disabled had worked for the Yellow Cab Company as head mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, country music, and watching wrestling. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Earl and Eva Morris Aubrey, and a daughter, Rebecca Ann Aubrey.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sophia Katherine Kessenger Aubrey; two sons, Larry Allen Aubrey and Larry Early Aubrey both of Owensboro; two daughters, Sandra Kelly and Misty Latre both of Owensboro; eight grandchildren; a brother, William Aubrey of Albany, GA.; and a sister, Mary Bickett of Owensboro.
Funeral services are 10 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2003 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Yelvington Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, May 23, 2003 and after 9 A.M. on Saturday, May 24, 2003.
