Larry Joe Ashby

Larry Joe Ashby, 69, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015. He was born in Nuckols, KY, son of Oscar and Eva Rhea Ashby, both of whom preceded him in death. Larry was a graduate of Livermore High School and Henderson Barber School. He barbered for 41 years in Owensboro. He was a member of Owensboro Christian Church and enjoyed traveling with his family. Larry was an avid golfer who took great pleasure in golfing with his friends.

Our Larry, son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ashby; daughter, Linda Ashby; son, Travis (Christie) Ashby; granddaughter, Lauren Ashby; three grandsons, Landon, Parker, and Carson Ashby; two sisters, Linda (Herman) Colburn and Pam (Richie) Howard; and a brother, Beverly (JoAnn) Ashby.

At Larry's request, there will be no formal services.
