Lan-chi Laughley Prather

Lan-chi Laughley Prather, 34, of 829 East Byers Ave, Owensboro, died Friday, April 27, 2001 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Saigon, Vietnam native was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church; had attended Owensboro Catholic High School; and had earned an Associate Degree from Owensboro Community College in Social Work with honors.

She is survived by her husband, Kelly Prather; her 2 sons, Thomas Andrew Oldham of Atlanta and Preston Jude Middleton of Owensboro; her parents, Edward T. and Ann Laughley of Owensboro; and a brother, Charles Edward Laughley of Willow Park, Tx.

Funeral services are Monday, April 30, 2001, 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon to 6 P.M. on Sunday, April 29, 2001 and after 9 A.M. on Monday, April 30, 2001. Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 5:30 P.M. on Sunday.
