Ladonna Michelle Crabtree

LaDonna Michelle Crabtree, 38, of 2415 Veach Road, Owensboro, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Owensboro to Michael Warren and LaDonna Bartley Warren and at her birth had 19 living grandparents and great-grandparents. She had worked at Owensboro Medical Health System since 1991 in the education department until becoming ill. She won the President's Award in 2002 for her work. In Pleasant Grove Junior High and Daviess County High, she was a National Honor Society member, and played tuba and piano. In ninth grade in Texas, she won second place in the state in a writer's contest. She attended the University of Kentucky. Michelle loved her birds, plants and flowers and all of nature, and watched a lot of HGTV, and NASCAR. She attended Eaton Memorial Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Gregory Crabtree, a son; Christopher "Logan" Abrams, daughter; Ashlyn Brianne Crabtree and stepdaughter; Taryn Crabtree, mother; LaDonna Bartley Stokes, all of Owensboro, father; Michael (Connie) Warren of Booneville, Indiana, maternal grandmother; Norine Bartley Westerfield, a brother; Donald (Susan) Warren of Owensboro,paternal aunts and uncles; Betty, Billy and Martha, maternal aunts and uncles; Judy, Garry and Roger, her in laws; Robert and Lavone Crabtree and Bill and Betty Sutley all of Owensboro, and several cousins, nieces and nephews and great aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m.Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at Glenn Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Gideon's Society.
