Kris Ann Hayden, 19, of Owensboro passed away January 22, 2025, after a long and hard battle with mental illness. Kris Ann was born to Christopher and Kimberly Hayden on February 9, 2005, in Madisonville. She graduated from Daviess County High School in 2023 and became a dedicated, hard-working, and determined employee at Dollar General. Kris Ann had a passion for creating and she loved Hello Kitty and mixing cute with creepy elements. She spent time creating art using various methods, such as makeup, self-expression, and hand-drawn and painted works. Kris Ann enjoyed animals of all kinds but was particularly fond of cats. She loved all of her friends and family and cherished the moments she had with her lifelong best friend from kindergarten, Julia Jones.
Kris Ann was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Doug Hayden and Ricky Gaddis.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Christopher and Kimberly Hayden; sister, Dallys Hayden; grandmothers, Sharon Hayden and Diane Hodskins; uncles, Matthew Gaddis, Brad Hayden, and Nathan Hayden; and cousin, Carter Gaddis.
A Celebration of Kris Ann’s life will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with same day visitation from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
