Knox Duncan Lefler

January 7, 1926 — February 8, 2002

Knox Duncan Lefler, 76, of Owensboro, died Friday, February 8, 2002 at the Owensboro Mercy Health System. The Owensboro native was self-employed in archetectural design and was of the Methodist faith. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict a received the Purple Heart for wounds received in action. He enjoyed his daily coffee meetings with special friends and spending time on his farm and with his dog.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Lefler of Owensboro and Kevin Lefler of Fayetteville, AR; two daughters, Tina Lefler Rhoads of Baton Rouge, LA and Lisa Lefler of Victorville, CA; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11:30 A.M., Monday, February 11, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Daviess County. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-6 P.M. on Sunday, February 10 and after 9 A.M. on Monday.
