Kimberly C. Terry

Kimberly C. Terry, 54 of Owensboro passed away on March 2, 2015. Born in Daviess County to James Clemie and Jacqueline (Hood) Cecil of Owensboro, Mrs. Terry was a very active member of Blessed Mother. She was part of the Prayer and Bereavement Groups of Blessed Mother. She was very dedicated to nursing at Owensboro Medical from which she had retired, she had dedicated her life to helping others, and taught at Kentucky Wesleyan College, Tutor for Community College, she specialized in the Critical Care Unit. She volunteered at the Help Office and St. Benedict. Mrs. Terry was also named Nurse of the Year. She was a member of the Kentucky Nursing Association, along with Right to Life. Her infectious laughter and countless stories will be missed by everyone.

She leaves behind her husband of 34 years: Kenny Terry, her two sons: Christopher (fianc- Hannah Sellers) Terry, Matthew Terry all of Owensboro, her parents: James Clemie and Jacqueline Cecil, sisters: Alicia (Mike) Harrington of Owensboro, Stephanie (Cary) McDonald of Cincinnati, also sister-in-laws: Martha (Paul) Gilbert, Connie (Fred) Greenwell, Nancy Greenwell, all of Owensboro. Also numerous nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.

She was preceded by siblings: Justin Lee Cecil and Geralyn Marie Cecil.

The funeral service officiated by Father Michael Clark will be Friday March 6, 2015 at 10:00am at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with visitation Thursday March 5, 2015 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with prayers at 6:00pm, also at the church from 8:30am till service time. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be given to Benedict Shelter, or Owensboro Catholic Schools. Online condolences may be made at glennfuneralhome.com.
