Kimberly Dawn Cummings

Kimberly Dawn Cummings, 37, of Owensboro, left the pain and heartache of this world on Sunday, February 8, 2015, and is now in the arms of our Lord and Savior. She was born January 20, 1978, in Owensboro to Carol O'Bryan Reader and Robert Michael Johnson. She was preceded in death by her beloved infant son, Jacob Robert Allen Puckett; her step-father, Robert Alton Puckett, who she looked to as her real father; her Mimi, Anne O'Bryan Lanier, who she adored; and her much loved Grandfather, Kilby (K.C.) Lanier.

Survivors include her parents; her step-father, Dr. Scott Reader, who was always there for her; two precious daughters who were the greatest joy of her life, Gracie Anne Cummings and Hannah Kate Cummings; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Fountain Chapel in downtown Owensboro for family and friends.

She will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery beside her son, Jacob.
