Kevin Norris

Kevin Norris, 59, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was born April 16, 1958 in Muhlenberg Co. to the late Paul and Gloria June Neal Norris. Kevin was retired after over 20 years of service with the Social Security Administration and had been attending Walnut Memorial Baptist Church. He had received his Masters of Divinity Degree from the Southern Seminary in Louisville. Kevin enjoyed working and playing on his computer, cutting up with people, shopping, and eating out. He also loved watching television and his favorite shows, Star Trek, Home and Garden, and the Food Network and all of his cats, especially Nana.. He was an avid U.K. basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

Kevin is survived by his sister, Melissa Norris of Owensboro, numerous cousins including Lisa Pentecost of Greenville, Wayne, Kenny, and Jeff Sparks, all of Greenville, Greg Sparks of Nashville, TN, Karen Stearman and Brent Stearman, both of Chattanooga, TN, and Glenn Nicotera of Bowling Green, aunts and uncles, Kathy Nicotera of Bowling Green, Opy Sparks and husband Doyle of Greenville, and Jack Stearman of Gallatin, TN, and close family friends, Bonnie Riley and her daughters Lisa Nix and Andrea Richeson.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 17, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Brother Eugene Howard officiating . Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 8:30 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
