Kevin L. Coakley, 96, of Owensboro, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Hodgenville to the late Rueben and Lula Humphrey Brown. She had been a claims processor in the Insurance Industry and was of the Catholic faith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Duigguid Coakley in 1947, a son, Stuart P. Coakley in 1977, and a grandson, Ben Coakley Taylor in 2011.
Surviving are a daughter, Clara Lee Taylor of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Heather Lee of Utica and Karen Hawkins of Lexington, and four great grandchildren including Hunter and Harrison Lee.
Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
