Kenneth Darrell Willis

Kenneth D. "Beans" Willis, 64, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at his home. He was born on May 29, 1950 in Daviess Co., KY to the late William Paul and Dorotha King Willis. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from his own gravedigging business. Kenneth is a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also preceded in death by a son, Brandon Willis and a brother, Delbert Willis.

Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Beverly Birge Willis, a daughter, Kelly R. Willis and fiance Robert James, Jr. of Owensboro, four sons, Kenneth D. Willis, Jr. and wife Katie of Owensboro, William Paul Willis and wife Marie of Owensboro, Steven Darrell Willis and wife Crystal of Owensboro, and Tommy Darrell Willis of Evansville, IN, 20 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two brothers, James H. Willis and wife Bonnie of Owensboro and Robert E. Willis of Beaver Dam.

Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
