Kenneth D. Underwood

Kenneth Underwood, 94, of 521 Eastwood Dr. Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2004, at his home. He was born in Tyler Co., W. Va. to the late Homer C. & Clealea Smith Underwood. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ and was the retired owner & operator of the American Gliseran Co. which did oil well shooting. He loved the West, especially hunting & horseback riding in Colorado & Wyoming. He enjoyed fishing with his friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madge Underwood on August 16, 1996.

He is survived by his son & his wife, Sterling & Evelyn Underwood of Lanesville, In., six step grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren, and 1 step great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 18, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following in the Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 P.M. Sunday and after 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
