Kenneth "Ken" Warren Jeffers, 70, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, under the care of Hospice and Palliative Care of W. Kentucky with his family by his side. The Dayton, Ohio native was born July 20, 1956, to the late Donald Jeffers and Margie Beck Jeffers. Ken moved to Owensboro with his family while his dad was in the military. He graduated from Daviess County High School with the class of 1974. Ken was employed as a service tech for Green River Appliance for over twenty years and retired in 2022. Being an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and had a passion for guns. While having strong opinions and able to express those once he got to know you, he was basically a shy and introverted person.
Those left to cherish his memory include his only daughter, Whitney Jeffers and her companion, Justin Simmons; three grandchildren who affectionately called him “Papaw”, Rhyker Jeffers, Daxton Harding, and Brayden Simmons; Whitney’s mother, Darlene Pinkston; siblings, Jenni Jeffers and Karen Jeffers (Larry); niece, Terra Jeffers.
A memorial service for Ken Jeffers will be noon Tuesday, October 13 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
