Kenneth Ray Head

Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Head, 54, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Born in Daviess County on November 10, 1956, he was owner and president of Head Electric Co, Inc. and member of Genesis Church. Mr. Head was a 1975 graduate of Daviess County High School and was a former member of the Home Builders' Association. He was a wonderful father and husband, and often coached his children's softball teams. He was preceded in death by his mother Rose Hardy Head in 2009 and a sister, Dixie Darlene Clark.

Surviving is his wife, Robyn Holland Head; children, Dustin R. (Michelle) Head of Bloomington, IN, Andrea L. Head of Louisville, and Jada Head and Janae Head of Owensboro, Patrick (Dustie) Hayden and Jasmin Crosley of Owensboro; his father, Eugene Head of Owensboro; grandchildren, Mackenzie Hayden and Lainey Hayden; brothers, Randy (Janet) Head of Beaver Dam, Eddie (Rosetta) Head of Philpot, Stewart (Linda) Head of Falls of Rough, Sarah (Tim) McAllister of Louisville, Annette (Paul) Lynn of Owensboro, and Connie (David) Adkins of Philpot; and his Highway 54 Franey's and Dolores' Caf families.

Services are 12 noon Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. J.D. Langford officiating. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, July 15 and after 10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
