Kenneth Aulden Cox, 82, of Owensboro, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Cox was of the Methodist faith, and retired from George Kock Company. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers # 20 in Evansville, Indiana, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific Theater, and a lifetime member of V.F. W. He was preceded in death also by his brothers Hal and JohnnyChurchwell. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary E. Cox of Owensboro, a son Kenneth R. Cox of Gray, TN., a daughter, Nannie Head of Baltimore, OH..,stepsons, David Allen Shreve of Lexington, KY., and Billy Dale Travis, James Lloyd Travis, and James Loy Maske, all of Owensboro, and two half-brothers,Charles and Jerry Churchwell, both of Kingsport, TN., seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
No services locally are planned. Burial will be in Kingsport, TN.
