Kenneth L. Cole, 82, of Owensboro died November 11, 2017 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mr. Cole was born August 2, 1935 in Owensboro to the late Clarence and Eva Johnson Cole. He was an Army veteran and a member of Blessed Mother Parrish. Kenny retired from Hon Industries after working in the mill room for over 20 years.
Mr. Cole is preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Jude Cole; brother, Charles Cole, and a sister, Ann White.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Alice Roby Cole of Owensboro; sons, Tim Cole and wife Missy of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Sam Cole and wife Valerie of Owensboro; daughter, Camilla Cole Lighton of Owensboro; four grandchildren, Patrick Cole and wife Zalinia of Cuyahoga Falls, Jordan Cole of Bowling Green, Megan Cole, and Nathan Gaston both of Owensboro; four great grandchildren, Olivia and Mackenzie Cole, Haleigh Sapp, and Franklin Thomas Gaston; aunt, Winnie Blackburn; numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be noon Friday, November 17 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church with Father Mike Clark and Father Brian Roby officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 till 8 pm with prayers at 7:00 pm and Friday from 10 till 11:30 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
