Kenneth Ray Brandle

Kenneth Ray Brandle, Sr., 66, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home. He was born on February 15, 1947 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Kenneth Carl and Virginia Rice Brandle. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, a member and volunteer of the Disabled American Veterans, and also a member of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Western movies, and he especially loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie C. Brandle on February 7, 2011.

Surviving are a daughter, Robin and husband Tom Ed Booth of Owensboro, two sons, Kenny and wife Nancy Brandle of Spanish Fort, AL, and Brian and wife Janet Brandle of Hartford, nine grandchildren, Peyton, Sam, and John Henry Booth of Owensboro, Kera Brandle of Owensboro, and Alyssa and Nicholas Brandle of Spanish Fort, and Maddie, Tyler, and Nash Brandle, of Owensboro, two great grandchildren, Paige McFadden and Bayleigh Brandle, two brothers, Steve and wife Gay Brandle of Owensboro and Mick and wife Jolene Brandle of Fayetteville, N.C., and two sisters, Sharon and husband Burge Burkett of Ijamsville, MD and Susan Newton of Gwinn, MI.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 7, at Sts Joseph and Paul Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday with prayers at 4:00 P.M. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the church.
