Kenneth Bruce Blevins

Kenneth "Bruce" Blevins, 62, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was born in Owensboro on January 15, 1951 to Woodrow and Barbara Pendleton Blevins.
Bruce worked as a machinist at Firestone for 20 years, retiring in 1998. An avid drag racer and racing fan who enjoyed attending car shows, Bruce received awards in both racing and showing antique cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Blevins; his brother, Larry W. Blevins; his step father, Forest L. Pate Sr. and several nieces and nephews.
Surviving are his wife, Vicky Ellen Prater Blevins ; his son, Brian Bruce Blevins; his mother, Barbara Blevins; his brother; Roger Blevins and wife Sherry; his three sisters, Debbie Blevins, Carolyn Blevins and Tammy Barnett ( Kenny) and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
