Kathy M. Leonard

Kathy M. Leonard, 73, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday February 9, 2025 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born December 18, 1951 in Daviess County to the late Henry and Mary Boteler Carrico. Kathy was retired after 21 years from the United States Postal Service as a Postmaster. She enjoyed sewing and long walks in the woods. Kathy loved cooking for family gatherings and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Gary and Jude Campbell and a grandson, Cameron Campbell

 Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Roy; children, Matthew Leonard (Erin) of Lexington, John Paul Campbell (Molly) of Bowling Green, Christa Calloway (Harold Baxter) of Corydon, Robyn Warren of Calhoun, and a stepson, Jeff Leonard (Wendy) of Fairfield, California; 19 Grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and nine siblings, Ruth Carrico, Rose Wieder, Geraldine Jarboe, Marilyn Aldridge, and Steve, Jim, Tim, John, and Tom Carrico; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 The funeral service for Kathy will be Noon Thursday, February 13, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 PM until 7 PM Wednesday and from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
