Kathy Lynn Christian

Kathy Lynn Christian, 56, of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on May 10, 1957 in Daviess Co., KY to the late Rufus Thomas and Dorothy Puckett Vincent. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Vincent and a sister, Joy Reisz. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and was retired from the Daviess Co. Public School System having worked at Tamarack and Burns Elementary Schools as a teacher's aid. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, volunteering, and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed sewing, camping, reading, and facebooking.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Michael Christian, her son, Michael Evans and fianc Beth Jarboe of Owensboro, her daughter, Melissa and husband Daniel Wilbanks of Henderson, two grandchildren, Nolan Thomas and Claire Elise Wilbanks, a sister, Dorothy and husband Homer Harper of Owensboro, an aunt and uncle, Sammy and Ruth Puckett of Lewisport, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 19, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial following in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday and from 8:30-9:30 A.M. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be 6:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
