Kathryn Marie Thomas

Kathryn Thomas, 82, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born April 29, 1935 in Daviess Co. to the late George and Agnes Taylor Morris. Kathryn was a homemaker and member of St. Martins Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling and was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Terry Payne, a brother, Bradley Morris, and two sisters, Barbara Long and Jeannie Duncan.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Ed Thomas, two sons, Wayne Thomas and wife Jill and Don Thomas and wife Mary, and two daughters, Kay Ewing and husband Paul and Cindy Hamilton and husband Curtis, all of Owensboro, 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 29, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery at Reed. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
