Kathleen V. Varley

Kathleen V. "Katie" Varley, 57, of 815 Triplett St., Owensboro, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Wendell Foster Center. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Joseph James and Constance Marie Hochwalt Varley. She had been a resident of the Wendell Foster Center for a number of years and was of the Catholic faith. She was a very sweet girl with a beautiful smile and loved the outdoors, flowers, and the feel of the sun. She enjoyed playing the keyboard, dressing up and putting on makeup and jewelry, and she especially loved spending time with her brothers and sisters and all of her Wendell Foster family.

Surviving are her brothers and sisters, ( her twin) Mary Varley of the Wendell Foster Center, Joe Varley of Scottsdale, Az., Connie Cearley of Merrimack, N.H., Peggy Major of Colorado Springs, Col., Pat Varley of Herndon, Va., Terry Varley of Sterling, Va., Tess Cottini of Sterling, Va., Ann Jeffries of Purcellville, Va., and Lisa Spring of Sterling, Va., numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and one great nephew.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 30 in the Young Building on the Wendell Foster Campus. Visitation will be after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday there. Interment will be in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Fla. on Saturday. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
