Kathleen Sue Sanders

Kathleen Sue Sanders, 62, of Owensboro passed away Monday, December 5 at her home. Kathy was born June 8, 1954 in Evansville to the late Robert Cartwright and Doris Lewis Cartwright. She was a graduate of Hancock Co. High School. Kathy enjoyed collecting antiques, loved the country life and animals, especially horses and her dog, Sheba Renee.

Survivors include her son, Michael Clifton Sanders and wife Amber of Hawesville; mother, Doris Cartwright and sister, Elaine Cartwright both of Owensboro; grandchildren, Dylan, Carter, Layla and Layni Cartwright.

The service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 8 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Kyle Franklin officiating. A private burial will follow at the family farm in Fordsville. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 to 2:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to the Daviess County Animal Shelter.
