Kathleen Clark

Kathleen Clark, 79, of Owensboro, died Friday, December 05, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born April 7, 1929 to the late James Robert and Mary Rose Roby Millay in Daviess County. She was a member of Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church where she had served many Priest and parishioners as a parish cook for the last 20 years. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and also cooking, and playing cards.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Adrian Clark in 1981, two brothers, Bob and James Millay, and three sisters, Dorothy Roberts, Beverly Hagerman, and Martha Newby.

Survivors include her children, Kenny (Martha) Clark of Owensboro, Sherman (Brenda) Clark of Knottsville, Kathy (John) Ford of Owensboro, and Phyllis (Ron) Gipson of Birmingham, AL; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Matt, Nick and Amy Clark, Jeremiah and Erin Gipson, Johnnie, Will, and Ben Ford; seven great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jack Millay of Paducah, Ronnie Millay of Owensboro, and Donnie Millay of Owensboro; her sister, Mary Flo Mattingly of Owensboro.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, at Sts. Joseph & Paul Catholic Church with burial in St. Williams Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, at Glenn Funeral Home with prayers at 4:00 PM. Visitation Monday will be after 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
