Kathleen Baker

Kathleen Baker, 86, of Owensboro, passed away April 9, 2015 at her home. She was born March 18, 1929 in Lansing, MI, to the late Harold and Eunice Elliot. Aside from working with the Hospital in Owensboro for 30 years, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. She loved her family dearly and was a great part of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren's lives, especially times spent with them at the beach. She was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church for several years and enjoyed her time spent there.

Kathleen was preceded in death by a brother, William Lee Wright, and a grandson, Kevin Wayne Jennings.

She is survived by her five children; Linda Hardison (Jerald), Dianne West (Jerry), David Baker (Lori), Michael Baker (JoElla), and Anna "Sissy" Baker Thompson (Pat); 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her best friend, Gerri Jessup.

Services will be 10AM Monday at Sts. Joe and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be 2-6PM Sunday and 8:30 - 9:30AM Monday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Prayers will be 4:30PM Sunday. Burial will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
