Karsyn Dawn Tolson

Karsyn Dawn Tolson, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Norton's Children's Hospital in Louisville. She was born September 22, 2017 in Owensboro, to Erin McLimore and Joshua Tolson. Karsyn will be remembered for always having a big smile on her face and was cared for and loved very deeply by many here on earth and will now spend eternity in Heaven where she will be reunited with her family one day.

In her short time here on earth Karsyn touched many lives and will now always be remembered for being a hero by saving the lives of two other children by donating her organs and receiving the "Gift of Life Donor" medal for doing so.

She was preceded in death by her granddaddy, Dr. Perry Glenn McLimore; her great grandmother, Virginia Wood (Gaga); and her aunt, Alysa Yewell.

Along with her parents, Karsyn is survived by her sister, Kinley Tolson; maternal grandmomma, Ellen McLimore; paternal Mimi and Pappy, Misty and Joey Isbill; her aunts, Shannon McLimore; Sandy Smith, Toni Morrison (Richard O'Bryan) and Aileen Parker; great grandmother, Telitha Jane McLimore; Paternal Pappaw, Tony Wood; and several cousins.

A funeral service will be 2 PM, Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Dr. Paul Strahan officiating. A committal service will follow at Christ Chapel of Owensboro Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 until 5 PM and Sunday from 12 PM until time of service.
