Karen Sue Roberts

Karen Sue Braden Roberts, 38, of Owensboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 24, 2009. Born January 31, 1971 to Billie Wimp Braden and the late Kenneth W. Braden, she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant and was a member of the Owensboro First Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her children and family and especially loved to make people laugh. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Ernestine Wimp and her paternal grandparents, Artemus and Mary Ruth Braden.

She is survived by her children, Matthew Moss, Michael Roberts and Maria Roberts all of Thurston; her mother and step-father, Billie and Tim Cotton of Owensboro; a sister, Kim Butler of Owensboro; brothers, Timmy Braden and Stephen Braden both of Owensboro; nieces, nephews, two great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Bells Run Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
