Karen S. Husk

Karen S. Husk, 66, of Owensboro, passed away September 18, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Mayfield, KY on June 8, 1952 to the late J.W. and Linda Sue Sweat Sanderson. Karen was very independent and loved to work, she was a waitress at Ole South BBQ and Moonlite for many years. Karen was a devout Christian and loved Jesus Christ. She was a loving and caring mother and friend, always very sweet and kind hearted to everyone she met. Karen was a real people person and it made her happy to please others.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Wendell Husk.

Karen is survived by her son, Clifton Husk; a sister, Sandy Lawrence and her husband, Gilbert; a brother, Keith Sanderson and his wife, Lori; niece and nephew, Kendra Hayes and Clayton Sanderson; also her loving four legged companions, Olive and Walter.

Family and friends will gather to remember Karen on Saturday September 22, 2018 between 10AM and 12PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Creamtory.
