June G. Tron

June G. (Alexander) Tron, 77, of Owensboro passed away on August 9, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late James Henry and Lila Estelle Alexander.

Mrs. Tron was a longtime and active member of the Owensboro Seventh Day Adventist Church where she had served as treasurer. She was very passionate about her faith and church beliefs. Prior to retirement she was the Office Manager at Lower Ohio Valley Pension Plan. She also enjoyed being part of the local genealogy organization.

June was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Tron, in December of 2011 and a sister, Norma Hoffmire.

She is survived by daughter, Debra J. Finley (Jerry) of Whitesville, KY; son, Robert Michael Tron (Brenda) of Owensboro; five grandchildren, Charity Keener (Darrin), Joshua Merrill, Shauna Merrill, Ashley Cain (Charlie) and Breanna Tron and seven great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, August 13 at Glenn Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Foraker will officiate. Entombment will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
