Julius Eugene Greenwell

Julius Eugene Greenwell, 46, of Louisville, died of cancer Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Veterans Medical Center in Louisville, KY. He was a member of the Catholic faith. He graduated from Owensboro High School and was a compensatory veteran of the U. S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Louise Matthews Greenwell. Julius enjoyed fishing, playing guitar, karaoke and Louisville basketball.

Survivors include two sons, Julius Eugene Jay Greenwell, Jr. of Haubstadt, IN and Jonathan Ryan Greenwell of Owensboro, KY; two sisters, Sandy Cornelius and Terry Thompson both of Louisville; a brother, Michael Clement Greenwell of Dallas, TX; his father, Eugene M. Hank Greenwell and step-mother, Connie S. Greenwell of Owensboro and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20 at Glenn Funeral Home.
