Julie Smith Manning

Julie Smith Manning, 80, of 726 W. 10th. Street, Owensboro, entered Heaven as one of Jesus many angels on Sunday, April 4, 2004, joining a granddaughter, Candance Sue York who entered Heaven on March 3, 1991. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed vacationing and being with her family. Julie, daughter of the late Jenny Vanlandingham and Manuel Smith was born in Muhlenburg Co., KY.

She is survived by her daughter and her husband, Carolyn & Bobby Fraim of Owensboro, a granddaughter and her husband, Shelley & Shawn Edwards of Owensboro, a grandson and his companion, Jeff York & Lisa Vaughn of Owensboro, six great-granddaughters, Kristyn Sue York, Julie Marie York, Skylar Dawn York, Brianna Paige York, Tara Brackett, and Brittany Mangrum, and one great-great-granddaughter, Haley Marie Ray, and a sister, Katherine Whitney of Evansville, IN, and several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
