Julia Ann Anderson

Julia Ann Anderson, 66, of Owensboro, passed away August 22, 2016 at The Heartford House. Born September 8, 1949 to the late William and Audie Mayfield, Julia retired after 33 years at Hunter-Douglas. She was hard working, loving and was a true caretaker throughout her life. Julia will be remembered as a loving mother, great cook and a devoted wife. She is preceded in death by her parents and an Aunt, Arra Bell Allison.

Julia is survived by her husband of 48 years, Norman; daughters, Gina Carwile (Tod), Tammy Neff, Stacy Frazier (Jason), Lee Ann Anderson (Andrew), Sarah Withrow (Layne); grandchildren, Allison Carwile, Alec Neff, Luke Neff, Mason Frazier, Logan Frazier, Connor Frazier, Abigail Douglas, Rylee Douglas, Taylor Withrow, Carter Kimmel; siblings, Horace Mayfield (Pam), Donna Thomson (Steve), Karen Dant (Neil), Becky Pedley (Tim), Jeff Mayfield (Becky), Dee Ann Brashear, Shelley Asberry, William Mayfield (Nicole); Stand-In-Mom, Sandy Mayfield and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with prayers at 6:30 p.m.
